PI COE Plant Maintenance & Quality Management SME Job

Level 10/11
This SME's duties include but are not limited to: requirements gathering, functional setup and configuration, fit-gap analysis, blueprinting, implementation, go-live activities and production support for PM and QM process areas.
Collaborates in business process transformation activities for the design of the business processes and ensuring that the configured system conforms to the enterprise-wide design approach while meeting the needs of end users.
This role will provide subject matter expertise to the PI community of users in Plant Maintenance and Quality Management, and also provide project management on the creation and rollout of the PI reference template.
Working with the business community
? Assist in communication of project accomplishments to gain support and buy-in for the project's goals and objectives.
? Act as a contact point for clarifying business process issues within SAP PM/QM modules.
Team Management
? Represent PI COE as subject matter expert for Plant Maintenance and Quality Management across global project teams and Project Management Office.
? Monitor and manage progress to meet project milestones within area of responsibility.
? Ensure successful configuration and testing of the SAP processes (PM/QM)
Planning, Execution, and Monitoring
? Assist in preparing detailed project plans for the Manufacturing area.
? Track and report project status on a regular basis including identifying, categorizing and escalating project issues that need management attention.
Participate in reviews and stage-gates with senior management as they relate to Plant Maintenance/Quality Management processes.
Requirements:
? Preferred - Knowledge of both beverage and food industries and difference in supply chain strategies used.
? Detailed functional experience in one or more of the following process areas: Plant Maintenance, Quality Management, and Manufacturing is a plus.
? Understanding of the relationships among the above process areas.
? Knowledge/Experience of SAP PM/QM modules.
Deep knowledge of the integration points between the Supply Chain process areas and other functional areas.
? Ability to consider, develop and deliver a process design for the area Plant Maintenance and Quality Management(including Fleet Maintenancet)
? Ability to facilitate complex design decisions for Supply Chain among competing priorities.
? Ability to drive to closure, manage to deadlines and move the team deliverables forward, striking the right balance between consensus and direction, as well as between an inadequately simple and a “perfect” design.
? Cross Business Unit respect and recognition as an authority in the Plant Maintenance/Quality Management areas who can be trusted to make 60-70% of the design decisions without moving up the chain of command.
? Ability to present and defend design decisions across Business Units.
? Ability to coordinate business and technical resources under an integrated project plan to ensure alignment of resources.
? Possess good decision making skills.
? Be an excellent communicator.
? Have expertise in project management.
Be organized and capable of multi-tasking.
? 5+ years experience implementing SAP in a multiple project, multiple roll-out environment
Experience in implementing and configuring SAP PM/QM
? Ability to stay within agreed upon resource, cost, and time constraints, while delivering a quality product
? Ability to escalate and continuously highlight open issues in a timely manner
Ability to turn around questions and issues in a timely manner.
