Basic PurposeThe Manager – PAB Digital Activation is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive sourcing strategies for over $100MM+ of advertising & marketing annual spending across PAB business operations for. The position will have category responsibility for Digital activation and will be embedded into division operations for close integration with divisional activities.Principal AccountabilitiesEstablish a valued working relationship with internal stakeholders and establish Global Procurement as a subject matter expert in the area of Digital and Emerging PlatformsDevelop and implement comprehensive strategies that continually improve quality, cost, and service across all PepsiCo business operationsDevelop robust, sustainable processes that facilitate procurement best practices across areas of responsibilityLead cross-divisional teams in the successful implementation of strategies and processesCoordinate with regional and global organization structure to maximize achievement of sourcing objectives and strengthen our regional presence globallyEvaluate and select agencies, supporting agency initiatives to pitch new work or review current agency rosterLead negotiations, support statement of work development, and analyze/evaluate staffing plans to optimize agency engagementsManage agency performance against key metrics to drive continuous improvement and ensure knowledge transfer of supplier across individual engagementsEnsure use of PepsiCo's policies as well as terms and conditions to ensure best in class economics and minimized riskResearch and implement industry best practicesGrow M/WBE spending within the A&M category and develop new minority/women suppliersDirectionDirection and leadership is provided by the Group Manager – Global Digital & Emerging PlatformsDimensionsApproximately $100MM+ of spendingInternal stakeholder alignment across Corporate/DivisionsTravel 30-40%, primarily domesticKey ChallengesEstablish Global Procurement as a valued team member within the PepsiCo divisional marketing functions and collaborate with them to identify and implement strategic sourcing opportunitiesPosition Global Procurement as the owner of all sourcing-related activities with respect to the above referenced categoriesDeliver results that generate strategic advantage and motivate stakeholders to view Global Procurement as a valuable business partnerEffectively leverage industry best practicesIdentify or design industry alternatives to optimize PepsiCo's positionMaintain a long-term vision, despite daily operational challengesEffectively leverage best procurement practicesContinually identify new, innovative methods of driving value to PepsiCoUtilize well honed project management skills and rigor to manage complex business scenarios in a time sensitive environment.
Requirements:
