Description

The Education K-12 Channel Sales Strategy Manager plays an integral role in the development of the National and local Education business through School districts and broad-line distributors. This role specifically supports the Education channel team with a dotted line to 4 Regional leaders and FLQTG Business units to deliver strategies to expand business in K-12 schools. This role will develop the Education sales strategy, provide direction, guidance and tools to the dedicated front line Education Development Managers, work closely with the Marketing & Center Of Excellence team to deliver category strategies to expand our success in the Education channel and bring this all to life by working directly with the customer and PFS sales leaders in activating these plans.

Key Accountabilities:
Ensure success of the mission critical Education channel development by leading the $175 MM Education sales organization Foodservice and vending distributors. These will include all elements of sales strategy channel pricing, portfolio, promotions , programming and align with Government affairs and lead industry relationships (SNA) . This person will play a strong role in guiding 40 frontline managers who will be dedicated to the Education Channel sales. They will set the agenda for this teams work and support their achievement of annual School districts sales expansion targets. This role will lead the category development strategy for Education K-12. This person will need to work closely with the FLQTG Marketing team ,PFS COE team in identifying channel & category growth opportunities via deep data dive and knowledge the FLQTG Business units . Finally, and most importantly, this role will interact with the PFS Sales leadership in activating the plan. This will require significant customer interface, joint planning and development of broad strategic plans.
Plano TX preferred but other locations accepted with higher level of travel required in those areas


Requirements:


BS/BA required
7-10 years previous Sales experience required. Preferrably internal experience with Frito Lay. Strong marketing background a plus as part of the role will be working with internal and external partners in the creation of sales materials. Superior analytical skills. Superior systems knowledge and capability
