Senior Scientist II Job

Description
- Conduct sensory and consumer research in support of product development, Application Sciences, Quality and Packaging research initiatives.
Scientist will work with the technical community, business team and vendors to design and conduct appropriate research to advance knowledge of the product and meet the business objectives.
- Specifically, the scientist will determine appropriate research methodologies, coordinate tests, analyze and interpret experimental data and provide technical recommendations, reporting results orally and in written documentation.Preference for a candidate with in-depth knowledge and experience in training, leading, tracking performance, and analyzing data for descriptive panels.
Requirements:
- In-depth experience and knowledge in training and leading descriptive panels are required.
- Training and experience applying experimental design and statistics to sensory research
- Ability to lead and manage multiple projects
- Well developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated passion, flexibility and excitement
- Working knowledge of statistical analysis programs(i.e. SPSS, SAS)
- MS or Ph.D.: Major in Food Science (thesis in Sensory) with a minimum of 4 years experience in a Sensory & Consumer Research position in a major consumer packaged goods company.
